Español 3-4 Tarea: enero

Tarea para después del final:  Handout on classroom expressions, on first page at the bottom left, put the column on the left under "Phrases you hear in class", put that column on flashcards of a different color that you usually don't use.  If you can afford to, buy three packs of some other color for the flashcards for class words, we are really going to be stepping up your speaking expectations in class and you will really need to start studying flashcards if you don't already.
2)  Flashcards for Vocab 8B which is on back of Vocab 8A which make up the first page, front and back, of big chapter 8 packet.  Put All 8B on flashcards, this hw will be worth 20 pts.  That is a lot.

1/26  Acabo de terminar con el final de Uds y tengo unas pistas (tips for you on the final).  1)  Remember the difference between pedir and preguntar?  Study that 2)  Verbs that are irregular in present tense "yo" form, i.e. "yo-go verbs":   salir, tener, traer, poner, hacer and a few more 3)  Remember how to form the present progressive and don't forget the irregular ones: leer, traer, dormir 4)  know how to rewrite a sentence with a direct object by replacing the direct object with a pronoun 5)  Know how to conjugate all irregular present tense verbs, there is a list on the pink sheets on bullitin board in classroom and know how to conjugate -car, -gar, -zar verbs in preterito as well as all regular past tense.  6)  Study every night for one hour and try to organize students to study together.  If you feel you have a decent grasp on things, the best way to boost your comprehension is find someone less "withit" so-to-speak, in Spanish, and teach them what they need to know for the final.  Teaching is the best way to learn.  Por eso soy tan inteligente, eh!  ha ha.  Don't forget to study "tener" expressions, like to be hungry, be afraid, thirsty....

1/24  En clase:  We did all of the listening activities for 8A.  The sheets for answering/ that accompany the listening are in the middle section of your big Chapter 8 packet and say "Listening Activities" at the bottom of every page.  You can access listening on the website by clicking on link Aventura 1 at top of blog and following links for listening activities.  Bring these with you to class next time if you missed today.  If you were in class, part of your hw is to put the answers on your scan-tron.  Also read TP. 336 y hacker Actividades 34 y 35.   If you weren't here on 1/22, I now have uploaded the writing sheet.

1/22  En clase:  Activdad 31 Tp. 335 write out if you missed class.  Indirect/direct object review sheet that you can download from documentos 7-8
Tarea:  Hoja de Trabajar p. 37 con dos actividades E y F.  Periodo 3 tiene tarea extra:  terminar con Indirect/direct object review sheet and go to this website:  http://www.colby.edu/~bknelson/SLC/gustar2.php
and do activity on Verbs that Act Like gustar, either do and print or write out


1/17  Tarea:  Paquete grande:  P118-124 Act. 7, 8, 9, 10, 13  Cuaderno 8A.7, 8A.8, 8A.11, 8A.12

1/15 Tarea:  Paquete (de 4 hojas) sobre -car, -gar, -zar verbs and regular pretérito, una hoja del pretérito "El diario de Beatriz".  Prueba (quiz) jueves el 17 over the top left quadrant of the 8A vocab sheet.  Martes el 22 de enero va a haber una prueba sobre todos los verbos -car, -gar, -zar que hemos estudiado en los dos paquetes que les di hoy para tarea.  Tienen que saber que significan en inglés y español y como escribir el infinitivo y las formas de "yo" y "nosotros".

1/14  Tarea en el paquete 8  Lean p. 115 sobre los objetos indirectos y sus pronombres y hagan paquete pp. 116-117 actividades 4,5,6  If you weren't here on Thursday or need a copy of the IDOP Sheet please download it here or from documents.

1/8  Bajen de documentos la hoja de Palabras Transicionales y el estímulo para escribir (the preterite writing prompt) and work on that during class on Thursday as well as a few hand outs the sub will distribute in class.
También para el lunes:Lean Tpp. 322 y323 y hagan Tp. 324 Act. 9 y en sus cuadernos 8A.3 y8A.4  Estudien sus terminaciones (endings) del pretérito.

1/7  hagan Ejercicios ABCyD en Las Hojas de Trabajar (If yo didn't keep this hand out from class you are out of luck as I made and uploading mistake at school and uploaded the wrong pages.  Y estudien sus -ar, -er, y -ir verbs en el pretérito y trataré de tener un prueba.  If you haven't finished hw for 1/2 : Tp. 320-21 ACT. 4,5,7 do that tonight and I will check off next class.

1/3  Haz la primera actividad del pretérito regular página 32 the first activity 1-12 sentences.  It goes on to page 33 and the pages are in no recognizable order what so ever.  Also, quiz over regular -ar pretérito with enfásis on OLVIDAR.

1/2 Tp. 320-21 ACT. 4,5,7  y Paquete p. 113 Act. 1 y 3
