11/21  En clase:  We took a test over chapter 8A.  Very heavy on vocab, Traer and oír and indirect object pronouns and culture.  We also took notes on VERBS THAT ACT LIKE GUSTAR in our Rotafolios.  Please have the back side of page 6 filled out with this information.
Tarea:  Vocab 8B  Fill out and do flashcards.  Lee tp. 338-341, Diálogo I (léelo) Hagan
Actividades 1 (this is listening and must be done by accessing the text book on-line, click on the head phones icon to listen, I also want you to write out what you hear that goes with each picture.  See example to come soon).  On activity one you must write out, i.e. dictation style, everything you hear the speaker saying for each letter and then write the number that goes with it.
Act. 2, 3, 4 ,5 ( for activity five do the same thing you did with 1, listen using the text on-line), 6 y 7
To finde Aventura 3-4 text activities go to the top of the blog and click where it says Aventura 3-4 text activities.  Before you click write down the code:  ssnddlk and you will need to input that to use the text.

Actividad 8 is Crédito extra. you must film short snipets of your preparation using vocab from the recipe on page 341, you must use this recipe.  The ingredients are expensive so you may want to ok this with parents and have them help so you don't burn $40 worth of food. 

11/19  En clase:  Oír and Traer practice, orally.  Prueba over venir and colgar and vocab 8A.
Quiz:  formal quiz over all of 8A, grammar and vocab and culture.  NOT preterito though.  No past tense till after Thanksgiving break.  Please do the conjuguemos to prep for test and I will try to make them sendable.  

11/18  En clase: Learned about OIR and Traer.  Went over HW, conjugated the two verbs on verb sheets. Went over diálogo and reassigned for tonights hw as some did not understand the questions very well.

Added quiz material from today:  Oír y traer, and acabar de + infinive

11/14 En clase:  We learned how to say 'should=deber + infinitivo' in spanish and that it is very similar in meaning, just as it is in English to 'to have to=tener que + infinitive'
Tarea:  1) Flashcards over the entire page of 8A, all four boxes.
2)  Tp. 330 Act. 21 y 22
3)  Leer Tp. 331 y hagan Act. 24 y 25
4) Cuaderno p. 146-148 Act. 8,9,10

11/12  en clase:  Lección ACABAR de + infinitive verb
Tarea:  Cuaderno p. 145 Act 7 and I will post something else tomorrow.
Please get caught up on your conjuguemos if you still haven't done them.  If you don't know how, try to bring a laptop or microsoft base tablet computer to Flex on thursday and I will work with you.  If you don't have such technology don't sweat it, you can use mine.

11/6  en clase:  Estudiamos el uso de los IDOP as a way to ask for and offer help.  We used the verbs from the vocal list.
Quiz next class: over all verbs on 8A list from "acabar" through "venir"
Tarea:  Cuaderno 143 Act 4,5 y 6.  Spend at least 20 minutes on 6.

11/4  en clase:  Hicimos rotafolios y tomamos apuntes sobre DOP e IDOP
Tarea:  Tp. 320 Diálogo I Act. 4 y 5, Tp. 323 Léela y hagan 324 Act. 9, Study 8AVocab Paragarph for Oral Practice for next class o hagan unos videos.

10/31  En clase:  We started Chapter 8A, went over objectives Tp. 316-17.  See notes taken in class.
this paragraph in the posted notes, needs to be changed so that it reflects your family. Change all subjects to reflect your family names and jobs done by whom.  Make sure to change the verbs to reflect your subjects.  The whole paragraph, though it is written about your family, should be written in the 3rd person (él, ella, ellos, ellas)  no use of nosotros, mi, yo at all.
MEMORIZE YOUR PARAGRAPH FOR MONDAY.  If you do it in front of the class 1 pts extra for guts.  Otherwise you can film it and send it to me.  No glancing away from the camera or you may be asked to do it again.  If you have questions as to weather or not your paragraph is correct come to flex today or send me an email.

Tarea:  Paragraph memorization.
Tp. 230 Lean el Diálogo I y hagan actividades 4 y 5,  Tp. 321 Léanlo y hagan activdad 7.  This article is crucial.  You must read this article and study the info.  You will be tested on this material several times.  TP. 322 Lean la caja verde y hagan Act. 8.
