1/16 1)  Bring 5 dollars for the National Spanish Examen, cash or check can be made out to Lincoln HS.
2)  Remember orals are on Tuesday and you must go the large conference room during your time assigned.  I will hand out slips in class tuesday.  Here is the schedule.
3)  I finally figured out what was wrong with the conjuguemos site.  My error, no shock there.  Anyway, whether or not you have stuff to do on Conjuguemos, there are lots of great stuff on there for both the quiz next class and the final.  Please do many of them but don't send them unless you have a zero.

Quiz:  -ir preterito stem-changers and vocab from 9A.

Tarea:  1)  Terminar con lo que hicimos en clase, Tp. 372 Act. 17
2) Dubujen dos dibujos de las palabras que les asigné.
3)  Lean Tp. 377 and make up 4 questions in Spanish or English about the text that I could put on the multiple-choice final.
Prueba:  over all the -ir stem-changing verbs we learned in class today:  preferir (ie, i), pedir (i, i), morir (ue, u), dormir (ue, u), repetir (i, i), mentir (i, i), sentir (i, i).  You must know meaning and how to conjugate.  Practice saying them and writing them over and over.

1/13  En clase:  repasamos el vocabulario 9A.  If you didn't get the hw done over weekend have it done tomorrow

1/9  En clase: tomamos el examen del capítulo 8 en clase hoy y muchos no terminaron.  Tienen que venir a terminar sus exámenes fuera de clase.  Los días lunes, martes y jueves estoy aquí antes de la escuela bien temprano..
Tarea:  hacer flashcards con la lista de vocabulario del capítulo 9A pueden usar las páginas 381, 382 y 409 para las definiciones de las palabras.  Algunas palabras las van a tener que buscar en wordreference.com.  Lean Texto p. 364-5, 367 y 374-5 y hagan Tp. 367 Act. 7  y hagan Cuaderno p. 161-163 Act. 1,2,3 y 4.

1/6  Examen sobre capítulo 8 listening, va a ser mañana el 7 de enero y la parte escrita va a ser el jueves.  Parte del examen va a ser un ensayo escrito.  Hablamos en clase y les di el estímulo para el ensayo (prompt).  Deben escribir un borrador (rough draft) para mañana y estudiar su vocabulario 8A y 8B.
1/7  Examen sobre capítulo 8 listening y luego la parte escrita.  No hay tarea aparte de lo de estudiar.
