Tarea: Epañol 3-4 april



4/29 Tarea: paquete de DIME (ve la última entrada para imprimirlo o solo mirarlo y hacer las actividades) hagan c y ch y hagan los flashcards con las palabras en inglés.  Practiquen el cuento.

4/25 En clase: Objective: learn about verbs that change meaning in the pretérito.  FlipChart Notes.  Practicamos 4 actividades  orales del Texto DIME DOS.  Debes imprimir estas actividades y hacerlas con alguien oralmente.
Tarea: Handed out DIME packet for hw in first but not third, so third period, imprímelo porfavor.

4/23   1)  Paquete Repaso Actividades: JNO (N is not labeled but it is the letter before O in the alphabet)
2) Practiquen su cuento "Tio Tigre y Tío Conejo".  Click on the past title and play in QuickTime.  El cuento está bajo documentos.  We will start testing in front of class Monday, next week.  You will be graded first and foremost on the pronunciation of preterito and imperfect verbs and secondly on your flow, expression, intonation and pronunciation.
3) work on hw from Thursday, finishing the story that third period wrote, follow links on 4/18 blog.
4) Preguntas page Tp. 15 Full sentences. 1)  ¿Cuál es uno de los problemas más grandes del mundo?  2)  Nombra tres factores que ayudan a causar más problemas ecológicos?  3)  ¿Cuáles son algunas cosas que podemos hacer para ayudar con el problema de la contaminación ambiental?

En clase, les di una hoja del vocabulario 2.1 A y B, la letra para "El unicornio azul", el cuento "Tío Tigre y Tío Conejo" todo bajo documentos.  Necesitan dos marcadores tipo Highlighters por el resto del año en clase.  You may want to bring an iphone or webphone or a device that supports quicktime to class with headphones in case I give to time to practice you stories in class.


4/22  Tarea: Finish story from 4/18, 3rd period, print "Los pantalones de Papá".  Both periods underline the present tense verbs and circle all the commands.
I know I told you that that was it, but I need you to read Tp. 15 and answer the following questions.  No excuses if you have no book.  Go to the top of the blog and jot down the code for Aventura 2 before you click on it to go to the book page via web.  Does not work on ipads.

4/18 tarea:
    period 3: finish the story.
    period 1: use period 3's story to help you finish your own.

4/16 tarea: página 14. Read the dialog and do 21 and 22 in complete sentences. 

4/15 Read pages 1-4 in Aventura 2. Do activities 2 and 3 on page 3, 5 on page 4.

4/12  Hope you are all sitting down for this news.  There is no hw this weekend.  And I just wrote that in English!  Remember, I will not be here this next week; however, you are in for a real treat.  Prof. Bevington, your sub, is by far, the best Spanish sub available in the Portland Metro area.  She will probably blow your mind with great speaking activities and maybe even art projects.  You will love her and if you don't, pretend you do. If there is something she does that you really like, make sure to take notes and let me know.  Be nicer than you are to me please and those of you with diarrhea of the mouth, try to put a lid on it for a week.

4/8 If the study guide had teeth it would probably bite for crying out loud!  It is under Documentos 3-4 where all new docs have been all year.  Named: Guía de estudios Cap. 9.  It has been there since 4th period Monday.   Examen: 9B See study guide by end of day.  TEXTS:  Bring all AVENTURA texts that you might have.  If you have a purple text that you checked out at the beginning of the year please bring it with you to class along with the green one.

Last day to make up for this quarter:  miércoles el 10 de abril and there probably will not be a flex on that wednesday so that last flex with me will most likely be this thursday the 4th.

4/1 Tp. 389 Léelo Act 7, hazlo.  Paquete 9b.1, 9B. 2
 Cuento:  Each of you will memorize over break the story "El pájaro de los siete colors".
                     For each box, or numbered section of the story you need to use the words there to rewrite one or two sentences to summarize the section.  You do not need all of the details.  Then memorize it; however, it is important that you understand the story as you retell it.  You are welcome to blow up the pictures or draw your own to go along with the telling of the story or a poster with the scenes.  These are only optional to help you retell the story.  I will call on 3 to 4 students each day after school starts until you have all recited the story.  Don't worry about plagiarizing the words of the story when you write your summary sentences to memorize.  The object of this is not to see how well you write but rather to help you learn pret. vs. imperfecto.  We will do the same with other stories so don't let this one slip by over break.  I will grade you on correct usage of preterite and the imperfecto.  Here is a link to listen to me reading the story to help you with pronunciation:  Reading of "El pájaro de 7 colores"
